Hi! My name is Stacy. I am a stay at home wife and homeschooling mother to three beautiful, rambunctious children. I have a slew of pets including, three dogs (two shelties and a lab), four cats, four rabbits and a hermit crab. We have also added chickens to the mini farm.
My husband and I decided to take on some of the homesteading lifestyle as a means to feed our family healthier foods, save money and help our planet. We also want a bit of the simpler life. Currently, we are living in a neighborhood in a small town, but hope to have a bit of land in the future so that we may expand our homestead to include goats and horses and maybe a cow.
I am trying to live as green as possible by making my own cleaners and using the great outdoors as a clothes dryer. We still have a long way to go, but it's most definitely a process that we are willing to endure.
